It's not weird at all! Everyone has their own unique preferences and perspectives, so what might seem weird to one person is completely normal to another. It's important to embrace and respect individual differences, and not judge others based on what they find weird or unusual. You can reduce 17V AC to 12-15V AC by using a step-down transformer. A step-down transformer has a higher number of turns on the primary coil and a lower number of turns on the secondary coil, which allows it to reduce the voltage. You can select a transformer with the appropriate turns ratio to achieve the desired output voltage. Additionally, you can use a voltage regulator circuit to further fine-tune the output voltage to the desired range. **
